I can’t keep “Mum” about this any longer….!
2nd October 2015
Well would you believe it? It’s happened again!
I’ve been nominated for a Bizmums Award in the Exceptional Service category and I couldn’t be happier.
Over the last two years, I’ve been lucky enough to be the proud winner of several Bizmums awards in many categories – Mum of the Year, Networking Mum of the Year, and previously in the same category as I’ve now been nominated, Exceptional Service.
These awards have helped to raise my profile and boosted the number of clients I’ve been working with year on year.
And now, it’s time to do battle once again!
I’m particularly pleased to have been nominated in the category that deals directly with the way a person treats their customers or clients.
As a single parent working full time for Henshalls Insurance Brokers, I am determined to let nothing stand in the way of offering an excellent level of customer service.
I firmly believe in treating customers in the way I’d expect to be treated myself.
Insurance can of course be a daunting subject, so my first aim is to put my customers at ease by taking the time to listen to their needs and demands, and working out the best insurance solution to fit their specific situation.
My approach is always professional yet personal; I don’t use industry jargon; and I make sure I’m outgoing and friendly in the way I respond to my customers. In fact, my efforts have paid huge dividends in helping to raise the Henshalls company profile.
As a result of my commitment to such high levels of service, I have happy customers who generate positive word-of-mouth praise and recommendations – what’s not to love?
I’m also religious about keeping in touch with my customers throughout the year, and not just when they’re due to renew their insurance which reinforces my friendly and relaxed way of working.
And of course, one of the best ways to keep in touch is through social media – I’m an active “Tweeter” and I’m sure the efforts I put in are a key element of my success so far.
I’m really looking forward to the judging of this year’s Bizmums Awards, and I’m hoping to repeat my success – but in the end, the best reward is the relationship with my customers, which is what makes my job worthwhile.
And if you fancy a chat, look out for me on Twitter – @henshalls is the name you need!
Happy Tweeting!
