Freebies and flats and all kinds of people

Go on admit it you love a freebie don’t you? We all love something for nothing and that’s been proved beyond all belief this week for the Henshalls team.
We’ve had an eventful week at the Home and Garden Exhibition at Telford Town Centre, and our Henshalls pens have been going down a treat!
But if you’re not doing your crossword or writing your shopping list with one of our latest creations, you’ve missed out well, until we get the next batch delivered that is!
And a week spent at the heart of a busy shopping centre has certainly been a real eye-opener with the opportunity to interact with people from all corners of the county and beyond.
From the people taking a short-cut through the malls to get to work, to the people on a precious day off, the families juggling children and pushchairs, and the pensioners taking their time to browse the shops we worked hard to make contact with as many as possible.
The main aim of our presence was to spread the word about the huge range of services we offer at Henshalls: whether it’s car insurance, home and contents cover, or your suitcases are packed for that well-earned holiday and you need a last-minute policy, we can help.
We were staggered by the number of people who came to us for advice and agreed to allow us the opportunity to quote for them in the future of course it had nothing to do with the bowls of chocolates and other freebies we were handing out just for completing our simple questionnaire, I’m sure!
See, those freebies really do work!
And I’ve learned an important lesson too my high-heeled shoes were a huge mistake! So how grateful am I that we were in a shopping centre cue a hot-footed trip to the nearest shoe shop for a pair of flats on the very first day!
Thankfully this week will be a bit different for me I’ll be spending it mainly sitting down!
