There’s a lot of love in the air
14th February 2014
Ahhh Valentine’s Day! What’s not to love?
Roses, chocolates, champagne, a little bit of soft lighting and a romantic meal everything a girl could ask for. (No pressure for my partner then hope you’re reading this Simon!)
And I know there are cynics out there who say it’s all over-commercialised and it puts pressure on people to behave in a certain way on a certain day, but I don’t care what anybody says: I love it!
Love isn’t just restricted to couples either at Henshalls we’re proud to say that we love doing business here in Shropshire.
We love being at the heart of the community and the fact that we’ve been in business for over four decades just goes to prove we must be doing something right.
We believe our success is a direct result of our commitment to the community that surrounds us.
Our company has called on its company van for many community missions, including clearing waste, managing woods at Severn Hospice, helping with the Round Table Christmas float, and even assisting people to move house.
We are also keen supporters of local charities and organisations, and this year has already been particularly busy so far with fund-raising and charity efforts.
We’ve donated to Cancer Research UK, and pulled on our very best Christmas jumpers to bring in the cash for Save the Children.
And even though we don’t take part in these initiatives for public recognition, there’s nothing better than receiving a heart-warming thank you letter makes you realise people really do appreciate what you do.
So if I have one message on this Valentine’s Day, why not think about saying thank you? Taking the time to spread a little love will make someone’s day.
